Bundle up, because I’m about to spill the cocoa on a magical day with Elizabeth, Matt, and their fur-baby Summit at Presque Isle beach. Picture this: snow gently falling, the sun playing peekaboo, and a risk that turned into the coziest memories.
As we stepped onto the snowy canvas, the magic began. Summit rocked a bandana that spilled the beans – “My parents are getting married!” And guess what? The proposal just went down on New Year’s Day, making every shot an explosion of joy. You could practically feel the love between Elizabeth and Matt radiating through every frame.
While Matt took Summit for a quick break, I couldn’t resist diving into their love story. These two started as pals in 8th grade, and here they are, dating nine years later, rocking the love game. The proposal story had us all in stitches, adding an extra layer of warmth to the chilly day.
But this wasn’t your average photoshoot; it was a full-blown winter wonderland adventure! We slipped, we slid, and thanks to my new Sony A7V (this was my first ever shoot with it!), the photos captured the frosty air and laughter like snapshots of pure joy.
As we bid farewell and warmth called from the cars, the excitement wasn’t over. Back at the office, I couldn’t resist diving straight into the photos. Four hours and a bowl of spaghetti later, the moment arrived. A message to Elizabeth: “Grab Matt and a bottle of wine and check your email!!” Cue the squeals and the start of something incredibly beautiful.
Our day at Presque Isle beach wasn’t just a photoshoot; it was an adventure of love, laughter, and memories that’ll be our cozy blanket on chilly nights. These images are more than snapshots; they’re a visual love letter to our perfect winter’s day, etched with moments we’ll share, cherish, and smile about for a lifetime.
