HEY, I'M RYLEE!

Okay so, the other day, I had this super cool photo session with a super cool couple – Jensen and Vinny. Now, let me tell you, it was a little different from my usual couple shoots because it was an indoor session. They had booked the cozy studio for the shoot, and boy, did it turn out to be a fantastic choice!

Now, here’s the thing. Poor Vinny, bless his soul, had just gotten back from NYC that morning, and he was completely exhausted. But you know what they say – the show must go on! And I’m so glad it did because these two were incredible. Jensen, my lovely client from the past, was her usual vibrant and energetic self, and she brought out the best in Vinny even when he was practically sleepwalking, hahaha.

As luck would have it, the weather didn’t really cooperate with us that day, and it started pouring outside. But hey, that’s Erie, Pa for you! You can never really predict the weather here. So, we decided to make the most of it and move the session indoors. And let me tell you, it was the best decision ever!

The loft studio has this cozy and intimate vibe to it, which created the perfect backdrop for capturing those candid and emotional moments between Jensen and Vinny. The lowlight conditions only added to the moody ambiance, making the photos even more special.

I’ve always considered myself a storyteller through my photography, and this session was no exception. Despite the exhaustion and the rain outside, Jensen and Vinny truly embraced the moment and allowed themselves to be vulnerable in front of the camera. It was beautiful to witness their love and connection in such a comfortable setting. I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to photograph.

I’m telling you, it’s moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with wedding and couple photography in the first place. Being able to capture genuine emotions and freeze them forever is just magical.
