As a photographer, there are so many moments in life that are worth capturing. From the first kiss as newlyweds to the first cries of a newborn baby, each moment is full of emotion and authenticity.

One of the most special moments I have had the privilege of capturing was Trucilla’s gender reveal for her baby with Kyle. It was an extra special surprise because Trucilla is not just a client, she is one of my closest friends. We met at Brown’s Farm in Erie, PA, right in time for the sunset. As we ventured into the woods to find the perfect spot for the reveal, I couldn’t help but feel the excitement building in the air.

The photos from that day speak for themselves. The way Kyle’s face lit up when he found out he was going to have a son, the tears of joy in Trucilla’s eyes as she handed him the card – these are the moments that make my job as a photographer so rewarding. Even I didn’t know the gender beforehand, so I got to share in the surprise along with everyone else.

Being able to capture life’s precious moments for my friends is one of the reasons I love being a wedding and maternity photographer. From Trucilla and Kyle’s wedding in 2021 to now capturing their journey into parenthood, I am honored to be a part of their story.

Cheers to the both of you, Trucilla and Kyle. I love you both so much and know that you are going to be incredible parents. Here’s to many more moments filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
